This refers to the Combe Down branch of Seafoods. It isn't my local fish and chips but I drive past once a week and have been thinking of stopping by. I have a brilliant, very reasonable fish and chip shop near where I live; unfortunately, Seafoods doesn't really come close. It was quiet - 8.30pm ish - on a Thursday... More

We visited Bath in May and found this fish& chip shop, liked the look of it so we went in had a look at the menu and the prices were reasonable, a very friendly man behind the counter took our order and cooked the fish & chips as we waited, and i can honestly say that the fish & chips... More

We visit Bath every year and always eat at this chippy. Whether we eat in or takeaway, the food is always tasty and the staff pleasant and efficient. We have occasionally had to wait a while when it's busy but it's always worth it. The chips are delicious and the batter is light and crispy. We'll be back next year.

Lovely food, freshly cooked in this busy chippie. I can see why it's always got lots of customers. Each time I return to my birth place, I have to come here for a fish and chip supper. Staff always happy to advise and help me pick my dinner!!! I would highly recommend a visit when you're in the centre of... More

It seems that a good many of my fellow reviewers come from Mars and appreciate anything that we humans put in front of them. Indeed the fried fish was the best part of our meal...if you like a nice crispy outer shell, a gooey almost raw batter on the inside surrounding a nice wet soggy piece of (frozen) fish. The... More

A quaint little shop tucked in a square, we found this after doing the tour of Bath on the bus. A small eating area upstairs. But a much larger restaurant downstairs. The staff were lovely although they were all on their way home at 4.15 which left the lady who was cooking to do everything else. The fish was beautifully... More

Popped in here for some chips in the afternoon and it looked pretty quiet, there were a few people sat down in the front (no one eating), two staff behind the counter and chattering noise from the restaurant down the steps (Which did sound quite busy) One staff member was buttering bread next to us,facing our way, but didn't look...
