My friend and I popped in here for lunch during a visit to Bath. It has always been one of my favourite places to eat in Bath. We both chose Ciabatta toasties which were very nice, although my mozzarella sandwich could have done with some...More

Great place to grab a bite when you are in a hurry though they stop serving sandwiches etc after 1500 so one has to be mindful of the time.

Knowledgeable staff and great cheese selection. Lovely products to add to a cheese offering. Really love the fig ball.

Enjoyed the most delicious apple, rhubarb and cinnamon strudel cake with my latte (served in beautiful Norwegian mug which they sell a few doors up from them!)

Had issues with an online delivery. When I e-mailed regarding my problem there was no real help and the cheese ended up being delivered a week later absolutely stinking. They very much blamed the problem on me and had no levels of customer service what's...More

Had a quick lunch at the cheese shop. We both had croque monsieurs and they were absolutely fantastic. Look around the shop and this is where this business began. Wonderful place

Description
TWO SHOPS IN ONE We have a 'cheese shop' with a range of delicious treats, and a café with our own chefs. Our 'cheese shop' groans with artisan cheeses, and great food and wine, some of which you can't buy anywhere else. Our own chefs make everything from scratch - from flaky pastry sausage rolls to chewy pistachio macaroons. We will prepare you a cheese plate from what is in season. Why not graze as you browse?. You may shop in the 'cheese shop' for Keen's Cheddar, our own onion chutney, farmhouse butter and Hobbs House bread, or have them made for you into a sandwich, served with a cappuccino or a glass of wine. OUR STREET FOOD On nights where you simply don't have time to cook, let The Fine Cheese Co. prepare you a feast. Drop into our Walcot Street shop and pick up a delicious, homemade meal a for fuss-free dinner. Alternatively, when those hunger pangs hit at lunch time, grab something from our range to eat al-desko, or alfresco if you are lucky enough! Our chefs Laurent, Julian and Tess have created a Street Food Menu that will change twice a month. The menu includes three dishes that work together perfectly as well as on their own, and a selection of freshly baked pastries, tarts as well as our daily Spanish Tortilla.
