Visited on cold December day, door wedged fully open, on closing the door I was told it had to be left open so the windows didn't steam up - doesn't matter if the customers freeze - especially as all 4 tables are either by the door or just a few feet away! I have never before come out of a... More

Hi & thanks for your nice comments, I did suspect it a bit when you walked through the door, especially when you got embarrassed in front of your group asking for the door to be closed in a small/busy jam packed, predominantly takeaway sandwich/coffee shop. Anyway there's not a lot of point replying to ludicrous comments made by someone who... More

We have called in this perfect little café on our trip to Bath for the last 3 years and just when I thought it could not get any better, it did!! The best cream tea we have ever had, with luscious homemade scones, lashings of clotted cream and high quality strawberry jam, you even get an accompanying fresh strawberry and... More

We were excited to visit after the reviews on here, however it was freezing cold and the decor was looking a little tired. A good idea for a theme, but the cafe decor and staff themselves are dated. Drinks were nice but nothing special. The couple wouldn't let us close the door and wouldn't allow a buggy inside(!). It was... More

We visited this café to grab a quick coffee to take on the open-top bus and I only wish we'd had the time to stay in there as it was the most amazing, quirky café I have ever seen! Lovely friendly staff and lots to look at - I could have happily spent an hour or so in there -... More

The service was great and very friendly; kids and adults enjoyed the tea a lot- we had booked a table just as well as it is tiny. If you get of the tour bus DONT use an app to find it- just turn round in opposite direction the tour bus is going at the side of the Abbey and you... More

Stopped by at the Mad Hatter's while on a bus tour to Stonehenge. Only had an hour and a half total in Bath, so instead of running around we opted for a relaxing visit to the Mad Hatter's to enjoy the beautiful weather and a great cup of tea with scones (made on premises and still hot when they were... Our family was going toward the Pulteney bridge and came across the tea shop. The decor caught my attention and even though we were not really hungry , we decided to stop and have some refreshment because we love the decor. ! My husband order the Cream tea for all of use and it came in a generous portion ,... More
