This is a nice little bistro serving flamma, very cosy and chic for a light dinner. They have nice French wine collection, nice little starters and desserts.

We visit Bath quite often and have walked past this restaurant many times without being tempted in. It looks really plain and uninteresting and as everyone says, is a cross between a café, a fish and chip shop with takeaway and restaurant. However, we decided...More

Bath is quite poorly served for French food overall, so it is quite a thrill to find a place specializing in tarte flambee from Alsace. These flat pizza-like pastries slathered in Emmental are hearty fitting fare for winter. I had the deliciously intense forestiere, with...More

As October is Bath food month we got a deal of £10 for a Flamma and glass of house wine. Food was very nice, reminding us of being in Alsace. A member of our party had very nice fish and chips. Peasants surroundings.

Pollocks Fish and Chips which was over the road has moved into Le Flamma which means it doesn't know quite whether it is a deli or fish and chip shop. That said their fish and chips are second to none and I cannot recommend them...More

If you haven't tried a Flamma then it is time you did in this delightful little restaurant only 20 yards from Pulteney Bridge

If you like pop tarts this is good place for you, but then again if you want to save your money get yourself a pizza from Iceland and you'll have a slightly better culinary experience. Place looks quaint.

At the end of a lovely day, exploring the beautiful city of Bath, we chanced upon this little restaurant. A blackboard outside advertised coffee, cake or French pastries, so we assumed we would still be able to sit down for a small snack rather than...More

There are many restaurants in Bath and other parts of the UK that offer ‘typical’ French cuisine but very rarely from what I believe to be one of the best wine producing regions of that country. Le Flamma, is a wonderful French restaurant in Bath,...More

Situated on George Street, perched on the edge of Bath’s city centre, Le Flamma is a hidden gem away from the usual tourist traps. With its timeless decor and stylish clientele of all ages this is a place which wouldn’t look out of place in any cosmopolitan city in Europe, a million miles away from the twee Englishness of Jane Austen styled tea rooms. The food is a breath of fresh, French air too, taking the cuisine of the Alsace region as a template for a rich, moreish menu while the opportunity to drink champagne by the glass just can’t be passed up
