Went for lunch and again was not disappointed. Ordered off the set lunch menu and ordered separate wine with the meal. Food was excellent and service also. Lovely restaurant with great food and knowledgeable staff highly recommend.

Food is okay here, and they endeavour to be too attentive interrupting constantly to ask if is everything is alright. well meaning I am sure but when you are trying to have a conversation it becomes bothersome. Food is average and reasonable enough.

Staff are aways friendly and attentive.

Bistro Jacques is in the centre of Shrewsbury. There are car parks on the outskirts of Shrewsbury not far away however we always take a taxi in from wherever we are staying as the fares are very reasonable. Also if you go on a Tuesday night for the menu including a bottle of wine each, you won't want to drive.
