We had an excellent meal in the restaurant which was very busy but everything was managed very well. The menu is most refreshing with new things to tempt you. All the food we had was very good indeed and really we can only recommend, the...More

The team at Cote in Reading were brilliant at accommodating our party of 20 (including last minute guests, changes in meal orders, paying the bill) and the food was delicious!! Thanks a million for our triple birthday bash at your restaurant!!

First time I had been to this restaurant, my boyfriend booked us a table, the service was excellent, lovely waiting staff. The menu is good, starters are mostly fish, which I wouldn't usually like, but I tried the crab mayonnaise, and it was beautiful, my...More

Dined here after a University examination with examiner and pleasantly surprised at how good the place was. Enjoyed the food (my fresh English Asparagus, good fish, iced berries, glass of wine, coffee was £20.50 plus a 12.5% optional gratuity which went to the staff). Will...More

I should say I've eaten here a few times and it's been much better, and maybe I didn't choose well. Flatbread with Camembert and caramelised onion starter and pea risotto with goat's cheese main. Both very bland, and sparse with the cheese. Not expensive, but...More

Over priced mediocre food, and I've lost count on the number of mistakes the waiting staff made on our table..I've certainly had better food and service from other branches

My colleague and I are here this evening. I shows Cote Brasserie as I have always eaten here all over the country. I waited 15 mins for the 2nd glass of Merlot which arrived long after the main course. The waitress said it was complimentary...More

Description
Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
