A delightful afternoon tea was the perfect informal send off for a leaver to our small team. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and delightful and the selection of teas broad and tasty.

We took my father for afternoon tea to celebrate his 86 birthday. The service was perfect; on time, friendly, non interfering, and most helpful. The food was presented in a lovely way and was moist and tasty. Thanks

When I saw the restaurant was located in the cellar of the Forbury Hotel it bought on a sense of foreboding. I should not have worried, far from being shabby the restaurant is very stylish. Just as a side note there is also a small...More

Very acceptable afternoon tea where we were in a lovely quiet alcove. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were lovely and the tea plentiful. All in all a couple of hours here made for a nice afternoon with family and food.

The evening will be one myself and my friends will always remember and certainly was the fitting place to celebrate a 50th birthday.

The restaurant really isn't a good place for afternoon tea. The music was really loud and inappropriate. Service was poor and the waiting staff weren't attentive and didn't go through anything with us. We had to ask for the flowers at the end. All in...More
