Called in for an impromptu Thai lunch on Saturday after a recommendation. I have to say that this was the best Thai food I have ever eaten. Every aspect was hot, delicious and just a pleasure to eat. The service was spot on and we weren't rushed or bothered too much. I truly cannot wait to go back in the... More

We've been eating at Chiang Mai Kitchen for many years now and although it's not the cheapest place in Oxford it's certainly one of the best! Chiang Mai consistently serve up well prepared, hot, tasty, well presented food in reasonable portions. The only negative is that they cram as many people into the confined dining rooms as they possibly can... More

We last visited 17 years ago when I proposed to my wife (well, she wasn't then!) as it was our favourite restaurant in Oxford when we were living there. We decided to take our kids there on a trip down memory lane revisiting old haunts and we are so glad we did. The atmosphere is cosy, the waitstaff very friendly,... More

Took my daughter for lunch ,and even though I thought I knew Oxford I struggled to find it . Beautiful old Tudor building in a side passage with seating upstairs . Really great food and a nice short menu for lunch - plenty for the faint hearted who don't like it too spicy too !!

I rang the restaurant looking to accommodate for around 20 people on a Monday evening and we were all happily catered for 45 minutes after calling which is incredible on such short notice! The food was incredibly quick to come out considering how large our group was. The food was fantastic and would wholeheartedly recommend stopping off here if you... More

Food is good, well worth for the price. Even though it is much more expensive than the thai shop next to it but this is definitely a far more better choice. Green curry is lovely and we had some papaya salad and Pad Thai! However, the dessert is kind of disappointing.

We called in just after 6.00 and were shown to a table upstairs, menus wre presented and we were asked what drinks we would like. After perusing the menu I chose mixed satay for starters followed by a green chicken curry with boiled rice and my partner selected the crispy king prawns followed by a red chicken curry with lychees.... Hidden away down an alley way close to the main high street of oxford this is a Thai run and owned restaurant serving decent Thai food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the menu offers the usual range of traditional and well known Thai dishes. The food has been tamed down a lot for local palettes; it wasn't... More

The food wasn't bad and the service was also as expected. Had a starter, soup and main course. The pork wasn't very spicy (despite being two chillies) and was a bit tough. The soup was okay but have definitely had better. The prawns had a lot of batter and were also okay. All in all the food was just okay,... More
