I visited this pub last night with 2 friends. We originally booked for 7pm but rang to change it to 8.15pm which they said was fine. We arrived slightly late (8.20pm) to he told the kitchen was closed. I had chosen this pub due to its good ratings on trip advisor and was very disappointed to be turned away

This pub is within shouting distance of my workplace is the preferred spot for leaving do's, parties, and general drinks - including a favourite of students of Ruskin College. The pies are classic fare and you will be sure of a warm welcome, and quiet drink. If you are lucky you will be lulled by the bells of St Andrews... More

I have spent the last week with my poorly daughter in John Radcliffe Hospital. Ronald McDonald house is fantastic, but sometimes you just need space, a friendly welcome, great pub food and a great pint A 5-10 minute walk from the hospital and we got all of the above A great pub

Love the white Hart really cosy little pub. The food is great especially the pies. Good variety of pies and beers on hand pump. The beer festival in may is also a winner

Visited this pub on a Friday night and had the 3 course meal. The food was really good although slightly let down with the pudding at the end. There was a good selection of beers and the service was warm and friendly. It was quite busy (Friday night 7-9pm) but that contributed to a good atmosphere. Even though I am... More

Lovely old pub with brilliant service and great beer. I had a Christmas meal which wasn't quite the right balance of flavours for me but the general ambience and the top notch staff means I will definitely be returning.

A brilliant pub, great selection of beers and food, and a beautiful garden. The staff are very friendly, and interact with locals and new visitors alike.

The first thing to say about this pub is that it is EXPENSIVE! if you visit, be prepared to fork out large sums. The second thing to say is that it is worth every penny. A beautiful old pub in a quintessentially English village with an open fire lounge, and three separate but small dining rooms, which gives every diner... More
