Enjoyed it, pizza was really good but unfortunately I didn't get to try the beer as I had to go back to work afterwards. I'll be back though! Informal bar / restaurant with a rustic interior.

Excellent service even if sometimes there is only one guy serving a lot of people. He is so polite and friendly. They serve great beers and the best pizza of Oxford, maybe of the world. It worths tasting the special mayo with garlic!!!! =)

Beer served in 2/3 pint glasses at £4.35, equivalent to £6.52 a pint, without informing you, just one very small sign on wall in corner. the ultimate rip off pint - trying to take advantage of people coming out of the New Theatre. This pub no longer has locals and won't be getting anymore with this pricing scam. Beer is... More

Great beer selection that almost makes you want to stop for a session, but Pizza's represent good choice and tastes if you are in a hurry for a restricted lunch period

Popped in for a pint on my way to the railway station. It's a decent enough place to get out of the rain but the staff are too preoccupied with their own conversation to bother to be welcoming. Good selection of beer and the pizzas seemed popular.

Small pub located on the busy George Street in Oxford. There are a fine selection of beers either served from keg or cask, or bottle. Very knowledgeable staff with huge enthusiasm about their place of work. Pizzas were freshly made and were tasty - also check out the interesting range of bar snacks - fried pickles were great!

Best bar in Oxford! Huge selection of beers and spirits. Unfortunately I couldn't try them all. Next time I'm in Oxford I'll be stopping in for a drink.

While on a visit to Oxford with friends, they took us to the best Pubs in town, This was out first stop and it was good start to the day, lovely pub with a great selection of Ale and Spirits, lacks in Gluten Free Alcoholic drinks but that's slow progress. The staff were patient with us as we took our... More

Beerd is the sole surviving Victorian pub in Oxford city centre, offering an extensive range of local and world beers from artisan and independent breweries, and delicious Italian-style pizzas. Inspired by craft beer bars in the US, visitors to Beerd are greeted by an ever changing beer list available in one-third, half, two-third and pint measures. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are on-hand to guide you through the mouth-watering range, whether you're a hops novice or bonafide beer geek, and an eclectic and colourful bespoke décor makes for a stimulating sensory experience designed to offer beer enthusiasts a point of difference - but with a great range of wines, cider, spirits and soft drinks too! Food is served throughout the day and hungry patrons can tuck into freshly-made, hand-crafted Neopolitan-style pizzas. For a quick nibble, premium bar snacks match the global beer on offer, including bar dough, crispy pig skins and cured meat platters. Situated in a prime location, the pub's curiously traditional exterior stands out from the surrounding identikit chain bars and restaurants, whilst the new, lovingly restored interior envelops you with a warm welcome.
