I came to Oxford visiting a friend and she took me to this beautiful Garden Café. The members of staff were all smiley and welcoming and the atmosphere was really anybody could want from a Café. My friend had a mocha and piece of lemon cake and I had a tea and scone with jam and butter... it was beautiful!... More

Had a latte and scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Both are good, could eat it everyday! £5.3, good price

What a great place for afternoon tea, the whole ambiance of the Vaults is just lovely. Great staff, great architecture and great cakes all made for a very pleasurable hours tea drinking.

This is an authentic medieval building where you sit on benches sharing tables with students and tourists. Limited menu but OK for a quick lunch stop. Very busy at lunchtime. In the summer there are tables outside.

Delicious food, very nice staff and scones were lush. Can't wait for the summer so we can eat outside in the sunshine with the wonderful backdrop of Oxfords golden buildings

We were a group of about 30 and had booked in advance. When we arrived they were ready for us and served us quickly with hot food. Food was plentiful and just fine, not bad at all, but nothing that would bring me back. I had chicken in a brown sauce of some kind with rice pilaf. My wife had... More

Very cozy inside, lovely garden outside with a view on the Bodleian library. Good food, not a lot of options but something for everyone (including kids and vegetarians). Nice desserts, and absolutely lovely scones!

This is still one of my favourite cafes in Oxford. Set in the base of St Mary's locking directly across from the Radcliffe Camera. But. It's a small cloister cafe inside. There loads of room out side but not so good if the weather is inclement. It's a bit of a push at the busy times, but the food is... More

I have been here twice in recent weeks and was delighted to be able to find somewhere to sit. It is easier in the winter to get a place to sit as it is very popular with tourists in spring and summer. I am vegetarian and they always have some tasty vegetarian meals on offer. Today I had a tofu... More
