Reviewed yesterday NEW

We went here on a recommendation, It was a nice setting with a cosy dining room with a living room feel, We sat in the window so lost a bit of the cosiness due to looking out at a very modern picture house, We had the lunch special which was any pasta and a glass of house wine. The food... More

We went for lunch today on Dolce it was beautiful, the food was Hot , fresh and oh so tasty. I had the most delicious Vegetable Lasagne. Fresh and home cooked, the best I have tasted. Nice rustic independent restaurant not like the usual restaurant chains. Such. Lovely meal , best quality at a reasonable price . Well recommended xxx

Visited on a Saturday night and expacted it to be packed but the waitress asked us to wait and found a table, we were served by a polite helpful young lady who took our order, We saw it was busy but the meal wasn't too long. It was good all round would come again.

Wonderful value lunchtime menu, piping hot, freshly cooked brought to you by friendly staff. Cozy restaurant, warm in the winter and you can spill out onto the pavement into the sunshine in summer. Well worth a visit.

Prompt service and enjoyable meal, starter of ham parma, main tagliatelli prawn, two bottles of frascati for two £69 good value and relaxing evening

Service was prompt, helped by the fact that the restaurant was two thirds empty on a Saturday lunchtime. However no-one asked if our meal was OK during the meal or when we checked out. It wasn't. The tagliatelle with prawns was glutinous and the prawns rubbery with little taste. The addition of powdered parmesan, probably out of a packet, made... More

When my husband and I visited this restaurant we were the only customers there at this time which was Sunday early evening. The decor is very tired, the food was ok, just ok but the one thing that was very unfortunate was when we were eating our main meal the waitress started sweeping the floor right near us and passing...
