We were walking along the River Trent and had visited the cafe before and always found it had a great selection of cakes and a nice cup of tea. On our latest visit, it didn't disappoint, despite being rather busy with the Easter break. The cafe was clean, the counter well stocked with a superb range of cakes and the... More

Food and drink offered was nice and good value. The setting is gorgeous looking over the lake. Only down side was lack of space and miserable staff

Good place for a coffee and doorstep toast on a walk around. Meals are also served and sandwiches too.

This is a very efficient cafe with a good through put of customers. Coffee was fine, although the cakes didn't tempt me as mostly bought in rather than homemade, but lots of other people eating them so I'm sure are very nice. Other snacks available and would definitely eat there next time I visit, which won't be very long. Nicely... More

Great food choices, made from locally produced goods and created in a sustainable environment. Great kids box and a selection of cold and hot food, only for limited times though and ALWAYS busy so it's pot luck.

Lovely setting. Went for a coffee with our grandson. 3 staff pretending to tidy up while one was serving. Took about 15 minutes to get a coffee an orange juice and a doughnut. Came to over 4 pounds. Asked for a glass of water too and was directed to get it myself at the water machine in the corridor. Disappointing.... More

Started queuing at 2.45. finally served at 2 mins to 3 and told they no longer serving food. They stop serving sandwiches etc at 3. I am amazed they can afford to turn away custom.
