This cafe has a surprisingly wide menu. It is a friendly place situated in the heart of Hexham. My recent visit was for coffee and a lovely cheese scone.

We visited this cheerful and welcoming cafe on a grey miserable day in Hexham. It is an eclectic mix of everything (!!) run by charming and welcoming staff with good food- we can particularly recommend the pea & ham soup with lovely bread.

The Bee in the Butterfly has been grooving along for 4years. A few changes ahead...beginning of April 2016 there will be a revamp, new management and relaunch...... I (the busy bee) has decided to fly off and have some time out....been quite an experience and hope all goes well for the new owners.
