Have been meaning to give the Cock a try for some time,so as we were passing by we drove off the main rd for lunch. Very friendly and table service as well,which was nice,menu quite small but no problem and beer choice good. Wouldn't hesitate...More

Went for an adhoc lunch at The Cock this afternoon after enjoying a delicious Fish & Chips there last week...! I had a superb ‘Gourmet’ burger today with extra bacon and Stilton cheese. It was excellent! Also had a lovely pint of IPA too 🍺...More

We stayed overnight in our motorhome (members of Britstops) and were made welcome by the landlord. The food was well above average for pub food, and the house red was excellent.

The Cock at Roade is in a small country village, but close enough to junction 15 of the M1, for it to be a great place to stop off.This stone public house was built as a farmer in 1720, and was converted into a drinking hole in 1849, today it is a village country pub with Beer garden, outdoor childrens play area, Great food, Good beer, and lots of Cheer.
