Easily one of the best ham and cheese toasties I've had. Great food, drinks made with care and attention. Quaint and cosy little place perched on the river. We didn't want to leave.

The best coffee I had in York, excellent service, unusual venue. Would have takeaway coffee on a return visit.

Great little coffee shop; very close to the station but literally embedded in the York walls. Beautiful velvety coffee. Tasty toasted cheese bread. The cakes looked tasty and fresh. Lovely friendly staff. A great oasis on a dreadfully rainy day!!!

Excellent coffee stop quite by chance on a grey morning. Seats about 17 inside. Lots of different snacks for a small cosy historic little place. The toast was divine.

Finally came here after following the shop on twitter for around 3 years, and I have to say it was totally worth the wait!! The shop is so quirky, the staff super friendly, the coffee fantastic, and the food so tasty!! Would definitely come back again!!

Oh the time you thought you were just having a coffee and the smooth silky blend hits the taste buds and an involuntary oh wow pops out.... And then you just smile and look around and ask what is this place?...... Who knows..... it's cold.... And strange..... But the coffee is so worth it.... :) Enjoy... Yes I would take... More

This quaint little coffee shop is set in one of the towers on the Lendal bridge. Their muffins were excellent for breakfast. The seats outside by the river off you a bit of peace and quiet away from the busy town centre. Highly recommend a visit.

I'm a big fan of Perky's, cosy and great for small business meetings or chilling with friends. The coffee is remarkably strong. Fantastic location as it is near the river, and equidistant between the railway station and city centre.
