My wife and I regularly come here for morning coffee when in York and it’s faultless. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone to try. I haven’t eaten anything but cake but my wife has and she loved it. But you can’t go wrong with cake!

I don’t think you can book - probably best to give them a call to see if they could accommodate your group too
