We had a very good early evening meal. Staff were attentive and friendly. We got a 2 for 1 breakfast voucher which we used the following morning. Breakfast was very well presented.

Arrived for dinner on a Saturday night at 6pm, quite early but still very busy. Table was a little cramped squeezed next to another full table. Food was suitably portioned, priced and very tasty. Staff were excellent, I was with a couple of elderly people...More

Food was pretty bad overcooked quite significantly, service very slow but still polite. It was busy so maybe it was just an off day.

Brilliant tasty food, and a menu for over sixtys, one, two or three couses. I had the Tuna pate and rocket, crusty bread. Amazing.

Had a lovely late afternoon hot chocolate with 4 mini macaroons which were beautiful but the Waitress was miserable and never smiled! I wished I'd asked her to give us a smile now!!!

This was a quick lunch visit whilst shopping. Although seating was rather cramped the service and the food was superb. Just a simple chicken baguette , but fresh tasty and very swift service. Good prices as well

With a combination of delicious food, great wines and a real ambience, Café Rouge has embodied the style and je ne sais quoi of French dining since it opened way back in 1989. Now with over 90 sites across the country it's just the place to mull over the morning papers with a cafe au lait and a croissant, pop in for a spot of lunch, share a post-work drink or relax over an evening meal. The menu covers a range of French classics from croques and baguettes, ideal for a quick and easy snack, to more substantial fare such as steak frites and boeuf bourguignon. Likewise, the wines are predominately French; many made by lesser known producers, and provide the perfect accompaniment to the food on offer. If it's been a while since you've paid a visit, the team think you'll be surprised by how much you've missed them. No hassle, no rush, no skinny- decaff-double-shot-to-go, just a vibrant atmosphere that moves with your moods throughout the day.
