First time of visiting Whitby, we tried The Quayside. Very nice food & quite abit of it too, lovely golden chips & the curry sauce was homemade. Pricing was pretty reasonable too.

Probably the best fish and chips in Whitby, not cheap but worth it. The fish is fried to perfection, the batter gorgeous and the chips golden.

We have been eating at the Quayside every time we visit Whitby over the past 6 years. Yesterday we went there as usual but were quite shocked at the price rises, now as expensive as The Magpie, but also the portion sizes have reduced. Sorry, will not be going there again. Food lovely but at £28 for 2 Yorkshire special... More

We had the Yorkshire special which is Cod or Haddock with chips mushy peas bread and butter and a pot of tea for £14.50 each. If you want coffee in place of tea it is an extra £0.40 or Yorkshire beer an extra £2.20. It... More

After a two hour drive and our first visit this year to the east coast we arrived in Whitby for a late lunch. We chose the Quayside, it was less busy than any of the others and from the outside looked clean and inviting. We were shown to a table for two quickly. We had a good look at the... More

This was the first time we had eaten here and it did not disappoint. Lovely place to eat. We had the steak pie which was just so tasteful. Really lovely meal served with great customer service. Thoroughly recommend!
