We ate both nights here when we stayed at London and the food was fantastic. I can recommend the burger I would say it was the best I have ever eaten very tasty.

Located only a short walk to the side of Buckingham Palace this restaurant is a real find. It has a varied menu and smaller plate options so daughter and partner were happy! Salt beef sandwich comes highly recommended. Nothing left on that plate Staff were lovely and attentive Restaurant is airy and had plenty of tables Will definitely remember for... More

We ate here whilst staying at the hotel next door. Lovely restaurant. I had the king prawn linguine with chilli and lemon and it was delicious. Very chilled vibe. Would recommend.

We recently stayed at The Rubens next door and was recommended this restaurant by the hotel manager as it was part of the Red Carnation group and the hotel restaurant was closed for refurbishment. We are very pleased that we went with his recommendation because this was a perfect alternative. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. The service was... More

We had dinner booked at the Rubens but it was cancelled due to refurbishment. I wasn't expecting too much from the Bbar, but actually it was pretty good. That Mac Cheese starter was a good choice and the fish pie main was full of prawns etc. Yep, I'd go here again.

Visit this bar regularly as it is close by, the food is excellent and a very good selection of wines and spirits with friendly bar staff.

We arrived at Bbar starving and in need of a quick lunch before our afternoon tour. The staff bent over backwards to get us served quickly and out the door. No one complained, they were so polite and the food was really delicious. Highly recommend the salt beef sandwich (England's version of corned beef).

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
