Great Indian restaurant with quality food, service excellent and staff very friendly and only to willing to assist. Take you own favourite drinks as alcohol is not served and there is no corkage.

This place is such a great surprise... Just try and dare to enter it, and you will be absolutely impressed by the tasty food. I would recommend the vegetarian meals - full of flavours! And the prices are very reasonable. Just give it a try!!

We were recommended the restaurant by a friend and it didn't disappoint. There were 4 of us and we shared chicken tikka, lamb kebabs and spicy chips all excellent. For main course we again shared a chick pea curry, saag paneer, and 2 meat curries accompanied by pilau rice and garlic naans. The staff were very friendly and best of... More

2 of my good friend's who live in London, have raved about this place for 3yrs or so, I travelled 300 mile to experience "Lahore one" and it didn't disappoint, looking from the outside, I thought I was in Blackpool, not in London, the decor is unique i must say, laminate flooring on the walls and ceilings, tiny venue, but... The 2nd best kebab roll in London. No.1 was sweet n spicy in brick lane which closed down =( Here you need to order the meat karahi (chicken a little bland) with tandoori roti. They do a keema bhuna only on Friday's, don't forget the dhal. Don't expect a fancy place this will take you back at least 20 years.

Lived in East London for many years, have been to all the famous curry places, needoos, taayabs etc. This place beats them hands down. Methi chicken is sublime and the chana masala is off the scale buttery greatness. As a previous visitor said, do not judge a book by its cover. It looks like a bit of a shambles restaurant,... More

You can have Chicken Curry to Birayani and Lamb bites but prices are high if you compare the quantity with price or anyother restaurent on the commercial street.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for a long time now and the food is always great, never have any complaints. With this restaurant the saying 'don't judge a book by its cover' very much applies! It's a traditional kebab house been converted into a very busy mini restaurant. Food wise we always order the same... More

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
