We popped in for a drink after the theater, and the place was packed. Very little available seating (not that they don't HAVE seats, most of them were just occupied), but we did manage to find space at the end of a table. The wine...More

We dropped into the wine bar after a long days sight seeing. Very conveniently located just off The Embankment Underground, a sort walk towards the Strand and you are there. The wine bar is compact inside, but there is heaps and heaps tables and chairs...More

Awesome atmosphere, drinking wine in a cave and great platters of meats, cheese and pickles but it is nice to choose your own selection. Don't sit outside!

We were staying nearby at Amba Charing Cross but even if I was miles away, I’d make an effort to visit Gordon’s Wine Bar. It is so unique, historic and special. We arrived around 3pm so we were able to secure a table with no...More

Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized
lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is
not just considered the heart of this bustling London
