Quirky place. Grouse was very tasty. But the key point is grand cru wine at 1999 price. Will be back

This is quite an expensive restaurant but the food was not really good enough. The lamb came with an anchovy sauce which did not really go with it and the brill was a bit watery, either overcooked or not perfectly fresh or both. The room...More

Very convenient location. The restaurant is tiny and old but the food is excellent and the staffs are very nice and helpful. Most customers ordered bottle(s) of wine even at lunch time. Good atmosphere!

I have been a regular here for years and after a wobble in the summer I am delighted to say Andrew Edmunds is back on top form. Delicious pork terrine with cornichons for me, even better warm sirloin slices with bean salad for my wife...More

Small busy and great wine list food disappointingly average. Turbot and hake both came with lots of bones, almost like fish just sliced across with zero care in preparation. There is too much competition in London and that area to warrant spending your hard earned...More

Visited recently for my birthday. We took our 17month old son, and whilst they don't have a high chair they were very accommodating to him. The wine selection is good, we had sherry as an aperitif and the food was simple, seasonal and delicious. There...More

The Academy Club upstairs (which shares the menu and kitchen) was closed so we ate in the restaurant. A little cramped but friendly and with a traditional but excellent menu. Wines particularly interesting. I started with the grilled ox heart - an unusual but worthwhile...More

This is a small restaurant in Soho. Quirky mixed furniture, small bar area. Very friendly staff. Short menu of fresh food. Not fancy but good. Extensive wine list and we had a wonderful french wine. Good value. Would go again.

We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant some time ago (including dogs being allowed - fantastic!) and were waiting for an opportunity to visit. Having booked tickets for the superb Book of Mormon on Saturday night, we finally had our chance, albeit without our...More

I would recommend downstairs just because guests arriving and leaving pass through the tables upstairs and therefore feels less intimate.

Established 1986, Andrew Edmunds is considered one of the last bastions of 'old Soho'. This 18thc. town house has, for almost thirty years, attracted many loyal customers. A relaxed atmosphere, seasonal menu and famous but reasonably priced wine list have ensured our enduring popularity.
