Went with friends - this is a well known classic place for many years. My friend always go there every time comes to London. It is also very famous among all the Chinese community. Highly recommend their roast duck and roast pork - must try!

Pre-booking necessary especially on Friday evening. The restaurant has a ground floor for casual diners and first floor for larger groups with round table. Decoration kept to aminimum and functional. Toilets are in the basement so not really disabled friendly. Great food especially the peking duck with pancakes and delicious vegetables. Very good service. Restaurant was fairly busy. Will certainly... More

This place is true Chinese food. I had the duck. Great food at this authentic Chinese joint. All our orders were on point with good service. Definitely a fav in town. This location is right next to the Queensway tube station. You will have to improvise on parking if driving and walk to Restuarant. I will visit again soon.

We only chose this restaurant as it's right next door to queensway tube station and we were short of time. We struck lucky as the food was delicious. Pork dumplings and prawn toast to start were the best I've tasted. My squid with garlic, ginger and greens was so lovely and my husband's chicken with cashew was good. Good service... More

Very good service to take away. The food is generous and tasty, and the prizes are reasonable. Very close to Hyde park and many other restaurants.

I don't need to go into Chinatown Soho when New Fortune Cookie is just on the doorstep. Their food evokes tastes of my childhood in Hong Kong and I can eat their roast duck, soy chicken, char siu and crispy roast pork every day. I love egg fried rice and order it in every Chinese restaurant. I can say this... More

When in London and feel like having good HK style chinese food ... this place is your must go destination !! Their Roast Duck is what they're famous for. So on point - super tasty and the meat is not gamy at all. Their other dishes that worth to try: Chilly crispy beef, egg fried rice, spicy salt squid and... More

Busy little restaurant in Queensway just off Bayswater Rd next to the subway. We tried the Peking and the aromatic duck as a takeaway, both great with plentiful sides and sauce.

This is a small unpretentious Chinese restaurant with a typical Cantonese menu. We ordered 3 dishes; a fried beef noodle in black bean sauce, roast duck and a salmon head also fried in black bean sauce. The roast duck was up to London standards, the salmon head was tasty and the portion was generous. The fried noodle was rather bland... More

This is a small restaurant next to the Queensway tube station. Straightforward and unpretentious. Can be quite busy at times. Allowed us in on the second night even though it was near closing time when we assured them our orders would be quick to prepare. Tasty dishes all round. No complaints whatsoever.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
