When I tour, it is non-stop walking. I make a point to “grease my joints” and refill my tummy for some fuel. This place is a café and more, with pastries and different hot drinks that the baristas prepare. I stopped for latte and pastry. They open late so even if you are finishing your day late, you can stop... More

I'm very disgusted by the attitude of certain workers... I order a cappuccino and a croissant to eating here to Roberto, Italian guy with glasses, and when my cappuccino was ready he came close to my table and say... il tuo cappuccino è pronto... r cappuccino is ready there. And he went back behind the bar so I have to... More

I love the smell of coffee and toast. I like the ambience too. Feeling calm, cosy and especially I liked this sofa where people can just sit in comfort while being away from the cold for awhile.

While this may be a chain, they consistently deliver a great coffee product regardless of the location. I visited mostly in the morning and sampled some of the pastry items which taste a bit pre-made and formulaic, but they are still are tasty at that. A consistent, reliable place.

In a word class airport with millions of passengers you would think Nero would hire more staff to increase productivity 20 minutes queueing then gave up went to EAT much faster.

Decent cappuccino and flat white at 2.60 quid per cup. Do remember to order as takeaways as if is dine in, the rate is slightly more. Butter croissants were just ok...not superb.

I was on my way to Poland and had to wait at Heathrow Airport for 15 hours to take my next plane. Luckily we found Caffé Nero were we had a very nice coffee and dinner and we could have some rest on their couches, it saved our lives!

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
