Back for more Japanese tapas at one of my favourite restaurants in London. They have resisted the temptation to scale up keeping the slightly off beat location and small number of tables. Yet again the food was great the cold tapas outstanding. The various types of tuna were palatably different fresh and perfectly presented. Finish the meal off with the... More

Best Japanese I've had in London. The food is outstanding. The staff are also great and very knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend to come here enough if you can.

A great meal, particularly loving the tuna, yellow tail , salmon and wagyu. The staff were hugely attentive and friendly, it really is a hidden gem in the streets of Marylebone. We will go back for more.

not the easiest place to get into. But once you are in, you will be knocked off your feet. Not for the Nobu and Zuma types. Its for the foodies, to add with excellent staff and service. Food to die for...

This tiny Japanese restaurant feels more like Tokyo than any other restaurant in London. That, of course, includes crowded and noisy. Superb food, beautifully presented and served. My guest has Crohn's disease and they couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. Lovely welcome too, when you arrive.

Excellent food. Have been there twice and will definitely be going back, the best sushi i've had in London. Nice mix of traditional and more inventive dishes.

My wife loves sushi and we had been to sushi restaurants plenty of times. The best sushi we ever had was in a place in Boston USA and food at dinings was not that good, but it was good. The place is tiny and actually the dining room is at a small basement. Service was very good and I would... More

it is a Japanese restaurant but offers new concept of Japanese food: tapas. As you can see in the picture, it is little but delicious food.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
