A beautiful tandoori place, well cured and serving excellent Indian cuisine. The lamb rogon josh was amazing. Thanks to the great staff, we'll surely return!

This is my favourite place to have a curry, the food is beautiful, and full of lovely flavour. I eat regular and I am never disappointed, the staff are very friendly and chatty, with a great sense of humour. It's also a very good price for the area

Not impressed with food, ordered chicken tikka masala, tasted like a powder mix, didn't even look right. Service quite good although only one person takes orders. Pricey, not worth it Considering we left loads they didn't even ask how meal was. Will not be visiting again.

I so wish we had a good Indian in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not it. Soggy and greasy food as well as unfriendly service spoil the experience. Too bad!

A very friendly restaurant serving amazing food. The restaurant has been owned by the same family for years and the high standard has been maintained down the generations. Suhel is a joy and looked after us really well. We will be back soon.

Visited this lovely Indian restaurant for our office Xmas party! Our office is based in Surrey but we decided on a few activities in London topped off by a traditional curry! This was no traditional curry... very authentic and the spicing was spot on! All very tasty food plus presentation was nice too! Service also very attentive.

My favourite Indian restaurant in London! I have visited this place quite regularly over the last 3/4 months for different occasions including a birthday party which was amazing - the chef and waiters all sang happy birthday! My family members all enjoy this place because the food is brilliant and the service is friendly! 😄

Description
Tower Tandoori is the oldest Indian restaurant in Bermondsey and still uses a traditional, charcoal-fired tandoor lit in 1978 and still smouldering! Established in the same site on Tower Bridge Road and run by the same family for 30 years, the Indian tandoori cuisine at Tower Tandoori is truly refined. Recently refurbished with an interior design inspired by the shady, serene courtyards of Indian Palaces, Tower Tandoori's menu has also had an overhaul. The Head Chef has drawn his inspiration from the great traditions of the Moghul Empire and blended them with the best of Indian and English cuisine developed over the last 30 years. Tower Tandoori offers al fresco dining during the summer season and there is a fully-stocked bar with an extensive selection of international wines, beers, cocktails and Indian beverages. The restaurant is also available for private dining, family gatherings and special occasions such as birthdays, corporate events and product launches.
