We found our dinner here disappointing. The guinea breast was dry, and the leg of lamb was gamy and tougher than it should have been. Nobody ever asked us how our food was. Maybe they didn't want to hear the answer.

Having traveled up from South Wales, Hereford Street was our first London destination. For anyone who is wheat and gluten sensitive, this is yet another restaurant that is fully prepared for such customers. The staff were exceptionally helpful and our visit was a success. As...More

Came here for a traditional Sunday Roast - a lovely restaurant, very nice relaxing atmosphere and a truly delicious roast. The food could have perhaps done with a little bit more seasoning with extra gracvy and the service not quite perfect, but, very minor gripes...More

My husband and I were looking for British food. We found a great cozy, up scale place that served such unique delicious British dishes. We had the Fried Calf Brains and Braised Lamb Neck for 2. Both were outstanding!

Went there with friends on recommendation from guide book and was not disappointed. Nice decor, simple, but very tasty (and a bit unusual) food, and very good service. We came for a late weekday lunch without reservations and were able to be seated, but the...More

We had wanted to visit this restaurant but came away thinking why did we waste our time. The food was uninspiring and without flavour. The starter could have been made by anyone - certainly not a chef. Everything was overpriced and most ordinary

The restaurant never fails to meet our foodie expectations. The hake, Guinea fowl, lamb, liver and potted crab are favourites we look forward to seeing on the menu. It's good fun watching the food being cooked. We travel up from Brighton as often as we...More

Didn't quite deliver - overcooked the artichoke, over salted the kidneys and forgot to add any blackberries to the blackberry eton mess. Maybe just an off night.
