We went on a Friday night and there was only one waitress. We were ignored for about 20 minutes, then we ordered drinks and food. The drinks didn't come for ages and arrived after I complained once or twice about it. We got annoyed that the food still hadn't arrived 50 minutes/1 hour after our arrival. I asked when it... More

Looking a Japanese restaurant near the National Gallery we stumbled onto these little place. As we had gone in very early, the place was slightly cold, however, the heating was quickly turned up. It's a small place but food was good and service friendly.

I visit this restaurant fairly frequently and I am often shocked by how quiet it is. It is understated and informal but the food is fantastic and the staff are friendly. Great value for money too.

I'm surprised by the poor reviews here. The tempura was first class and the suimono was the best I have had in London. They had a Japanese craft beer that went well with everything I ate. But the standout was the rice- the first time since I left Asia where the rice tasted good. But its neighbourhood Japanese- don't mistake... More

Decent food, decent price. Nothing special, but not bad. Sushi was fresh and tasty. Japanese pickles tasty. Miso soup had hardly any bean curd or seaweed in it. Would go again if in the area.

The lunch set menu is worth going for. Price is moderate. The portion of the tempura is on the small side. Have eaten the bento box with salmon and katsu. In general one can eat quickly.

I tend to write only review where I feel credit should be noted. However in this instance I'm hoping that my review will perhaps help the restaurant to change. I've been visiting Hazuki for at least 8years and it used to be one of those places that my friends would gather with excitement. We have bought friends and family here... More

Enjoyed having an Asahi with a meal including miso soup, tempura prawns and sushi. Ground floor is a bit of a corridor to sit in ... More cafe than restaurant.

The food was good and fresh despite the fact that we were the only customers. The owner, Beni was very friendly and interesting to talk to. He explained that his main customers were local and on a bank holiday weekend most either go out of London or stay home. He also had a good understating of wine so we had... More
