Great and a very good choice on the set lunch menu Good value too and it was very busy even at 2.30pm when we booked a late celebration lunch. Great service from the manager and his staff. We will be back again I am sure when next in London

Booked via Open Table and got the time slot i wanted. When we got there we were shown downstairs to a table for two, where one of the seats was literally in the doorway yo the room and the main thoroughfare for visits to the loo. There were two other tables in the room not taken so we asked to... More

It's tight packed and a little shabby, but you can't fault the value for money or the efficiency of the service - an excellent three course pre theatre, seated at 6.05 and out by 7.15 and all for about £50 for two, including a glass of wine each and service. Starters are really excellent, for example grilled sea trout or... More

I was very disappointed with my meal. The pan fried foie gras was cold so it tasted oily. I wanted the sea bass fillets but with different potatoes but was told this wasn't possible! So I ordered the duck breast. This was tough and the whole plate was very dark - dark meat, dark jus and dark red cabbage. Not... More

We had a pre theatre dinner here, 3 courses for £17.90. The portions were good and the quality of food was excellent. Not surprisingly the restaurant was busy, but everything arrived in good time. For cheap eating in the West End, I don't think this place could be bettered.

Stumbled across the Pierre Victoria by chance after theatre. Wonderful atmosphere comprising live piano music, with scrubbed tables illuminated by candles in an assortment of discarded wine bottles. All very reminissant of a true 1960's French bistro as was, and sadly missed in this minimalist age. The food was beautiful cooked. My colleague enjoyed goat terrain followed by a bowl... More

Had a lovely lunch here. Food and service were both great. I had the racklette and my friend had the stroganoff. Both were delicious. Desserts were crime brûlée and tarte tatin, again delicious. Service was relaxed but efficient. Even though the restaurant was very busy we were not asked to move or hurried in any way. A very pleasant experience.... More

Went to Pierre Victoire for a family dinner. This place is a real gem and everything works from the ambiance, to the décor, to the service. Food is tradional French fare and is excellently done as well as being decent value for money. Would go again.

Description
Pierre Victoire Bistro has been established as one of Soho's most charming French restaurants since opening its doors to London in 1998. The classic French Bistro style décor complete with an eclectic collection of art pieces and chalkboards detailing the daily specials sets an inviting scene in which to enjoy a fabulous and very affordable French meal. Set menus are a prominent feature of this great little restaurant where a two course set lunch will set you back just £9.90 and the two course evening meal is a steal at just £12.90, both with plenty to choose from. Enjoy the restaurant's famous Steak & Frites as well as a wide range of fresh fish and seafood. The menus are changed regularly so there is always a delightful surprise waiting. Lunch times are ideal for an informal business lunch or just a long lazy afternoon with friends. In the evenings the restaurant is transformed into to a romantic restaurant where customers dine over candle light to music from one of the rather eccentric and charming pianists when it takes their fancy! The intimate basement lounge is available for exclusive hire at no further cost and can be styled to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 25.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
