Arranging a reunion of old friends, I needed somewhere in central London that offered good food, a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. In this area, a big ask, but as a regular patron of Pierre Victoire in Oxford, I thought the Dean Street version might...More

We booked a pre-theatre table here as it looked pretty busy for mid week in January. So glad we did- a very popular restaurant. I have eaten in a few of this chain and love the rustic simplicity of Pierre Victoire and this was no...More

We booked very late on for early Sat evening for 3. We arrived with a 4th just for a drink and they fitted her in obligingly at our table for 3. They were happy to allow us to delay ordering for a bit even though...More

This is a small, cute place in Soho. The service is friendly, and the food is really good. It's not an overly fancy place, but it's a solid, quality place with all the standard fare -- steak or mussel frites, good seafood, duck, some pasta,...More

Of all London's French bistros and their variants, our favourite is Pierre Victoire. I've rarely seen it deserted, but the young host did everything possible to serve a hungry patron. On the cold January Saturday night I turned up at 8pm, having incorrectly booked for...More

Four of us had the pre-Theatre menu on a Sat eve - the seating is a but tight but other than that we had nothing but praise. Prompt and friendy service, excellent food - the cured salmon and ham-hock terrine starters were superb, as was...More

Even though the location suffers from the neighboring construction site, this little restaurant remains the same. Yes, they definitely do gluten free but I would check in advance. I took a vegan with gluten and dairy issues and they provided a really good meal. No dress code. It's a very very casual place!

Pierre Victoire Bistro has been established as one of Soho's most charming French restaurants since opening its doors to London in 1998. The classic French Bistro style décor complete with an eclectic collection of art pieces and chalkboards detailing the daily specials sets an inviting scene in which to enjoy a fabulous and very affordable French meal. Set menus are a prominent feature of this great little restaurant where a two course set lunch will set you back just £9.90 and the two course evening meal is a steal at just £12.90, both with plenty to choose from. Enjoy the restaurant's famous Steak & Frites as well as a wide range of fresh fish and seafood. The menus are changed regularly so there is always a delightful surprise waiting. Lunch times are ideal for an informal business lunch or just a long lazy afternoon with friends. In the evenings the restaurant is transformed into to a romantic restaurant where customers dine over candle light to music from one of the rather eccentric and charming pianists when it takes their fancy! The intimate basement lounge is available for exclusive hire at no further cost and can be styled to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 25.
