I expect fried satay from local Chinese takeaway, not from a reputable Malaysian / Singaporean restaurant in Chinatown. Other than the fried satay, the food was very good. I really enjoyed the Ikan Asam Pedas (Mackerel).
Been there a few times.Great Laska but not so impressed with Char Keoy teow .I got bought a takeaway of Nasi lemak for my daughter and she thought it was good

Near the entrance to Chinatown, C&R was the choice of a friend from Singapore for her native cuisine. She declared it to be authentic, however, my American sensibility didn't flip over it. Pretty good, but the frantic scene and "cheap eats" elbows didn't do it...More
