We invited 24 friends for tea join us for our Golden Wedding celebration, everything worked out beautifully, the service was good, the tea was hot, the sandwiches were good, and the cakes were lovely, Ruby Durell the events Co-ordinator was very helpful, our friend who needed gluten free together with all of us went home very happy .

We enjoyed an delicious Sunday lunch with absolutely excellent service and freshly cooked food. There is an extensive selection of quality wines in a very comfortable location. The outdoor courtyards are also really great for alfresco dining and/or drinking. A chilled bottle of wine or refreshing drink outdoors (or indoors) with a tasty meal or snack makes for a special... The Brasserie was a good place to have an informal meal to relax and chat. The service throughout the hotel including the Brasserie is excellent with great staff.

I would highly recommend this restaurant as the food and service is very good, we've been twice. We had a lovely three course meal which was so beautifully presented that I almost didn't want to eat it, goats cheese starter, stone bass and veg, strawberry millefeuille. The staff attending to us were both very friendly and attentive.

We booked for their Easter Lunch as a birthday celebration for my mums 78th birthday. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The food was excellent just like on a cruise ship. The staff, well they were out of this world. They could not do enough for us. They made my mum fell really special. They made our lunch extra special.... More

Had dinner here, a main course and a dessert, with drinks. The food was beautifully cooked, and the chef had put some lovely flavours together. My friend chose the lamb option, and was blown away by how tender the meat was, and the lovely fusion of flavours. I had the duck option, and again, it was divine. We then had... More

3 circles for nice food. 2 circles less for list below. Problems: 1. Far too many staff attending to each table. We were asked four times by different people if our meal was acceptable. Staff would reach across our group to remove plates when they could have walked around to the other side and been less intrusive. 2. Be prepared... More

This was a banqueting event in the hotel, so I am not sure that it is quite fair to equate it with the brasserie The food was pre-plated for speed of service. It was adequate banqueting food, efficiently served by busy and friendly staff. The wine was very overpriced - I estimate a markup of between five and six times... More

An excellent 3 course meal. Choice was good, quality excellent and preparation and presentation (in my opinion) was faultless. Not particularly cheap but as an occasional treat, money well spent.

Good food but not cheap. Good service but a bit obsequious. Good information about food allergies but possible slight contamination with gluten.
