It never ceases to amaze me how rude unattentive and blase' people can be when it comes with dealing with public Staff here totally disinterested in the task at hand..serving Arrived for afternoon tea. Had to chase waiter to order. Cakes delivered then 20 minutes later tea arrived but only after chasing 3 waiters stood talking for 7 minutes ignoring... More

I last came here more than 15 years ago with my grandmother when we went to see a Monet exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts. This restaurant holds a special place for me, as she is no longer alive and so I was looking forward to reminiscing. After a long day out and about sightseeing in London my friend... More

We decided to stop for lunch here, the ambience is nice the staff friendly the food is average but it ticks the box when you're hungry. Service is a little slow but it was lunch time. Reasonably priced. Would go again.

I first went to Richoux about 20 years ago and have returned many times since then (the most recent was this week). The food is still good quality and the service maintains a good standard.

I used to eat regularly at Richoux back in the early 90's but have not eaten there for a number of years I booked a table but when we walked in, nobody took a blind bit of notice. Eventually, a waiter condescended to find us a table and thereafter service was acceptable My French onion soup was dire - like... More

Deserts are fine, but very very very very very slow. I ordered two pots of tea, and 26 mins later, they were served. This place has been banned.

We have eaten several times for breakfast and have always wanted to try dinner. We can strongly recommend it. The menu is varied and well priced. The staff are very helpful and also has a value for monet wine list.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
