Thank you for looking after us so well- we were a large group- we had a great table- and were served promptly by polite and helpful staff. A nice, airy venue with a great deal of personality.

Old dairy supply building with tiled walls and a pretty stained glass window. Food straight from oven to table with no hanging about. Usual PE menu , helpful staff. What more can you want?

Popped in here after the theatre for some food and although it was quiet and beginning to think about closing the staff made us very welcome. They ensured that although we were the last customers of the night we had delicious food and good service....More

I am a huge fan of Pizza Express and without doubt The Coptic Street restaurant is the jewel in the crown. My parents came here in the 60s when I think it was only the second branch in the country, and we have been coming...More

We asked about a two course lunch deal and were given menus displaying the deal, from which we ordered a starter and a main each. No code was mentioned by the waitress or on the menu. We ate in noisy surroundings as the chef and...More

We arrive there early evening, not really busy but short of staff it seemed, good things were the pizzas and the fact that they moved us by the window when a table was available. Down points : we had to get the staff attention for...More

Typical pizza express food but located in a nice historic building. We had tesco vouchers and had booked in advance which is recommended as it was very busy on a Saturday night. Tables are packed in but its nice atmosphere. Staff and service very good....More

Description
Situated two minutes from the British Museum in Coptic Street the restaurant is a popular place for both families and tourists. Close to the heart of theatre land in the West End of Central London, the restaurant was established in 1967 and was the second PizzaExpress to open. The tiles on the walls are the original to the dairy and many of its features date back to 1967, which gives this restaurant a unique identity.
