Amazingly delicious and creative tapas dishes. It’s bar seating around the open kitchen and there are limited spaces so try to go early, unless expect to wait at least half an hour. I know what you’re thinking, but you can’t reserve a spot. It’s all...More

We ordered several dishes and they were all excellent. Highly recommend the octopus, grilled brill, mussels and FRIED CHICKEN! Probably not ideal for a large party as seatings are bar seats, unless you sit outside. Even then there are only a few tables outside. We...More

Can't say enough good things about Barrafina restaurant on Dean street. I have been to the one on Drury lane also and it ranks up there with some of the best tapas I've ever had. Even in Spain. I was a little worried the Dean...More

What a disappointing experience- had been looking forward to visiting this tapas bar and it is hugely popular. More style over substance - rubbery octopus, more batter than squid, and all round terrible tapas. Only highlight was great table on the street on a clear...More

You should definitely try this place, the people are so friendly but really this is about the food. The food is just amazing! I would guess this place only seats about 30 or so people, all overlooking the bar and open kitchen. You order directly...More

Delicious tapas in a buzzy atmosphere with helpful, friendly staff. We particularly enjoyed the plaice, the salt cod fritters, the courgette flower and the classic tortilla. We miss Fino so it was great to have the runny centred tortilla again. We visited on a Saturday...More

For two people on a Thursday eve we had to wait just under 1.5hours. They bring the queue inside for part of your wait so it's not all in the cold, then you can also have a drink whilst you wait on the side, seeing...More

The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and chatty and it's not too expensive. You sit at the L-shaped counter and watch the cooks make the food and you chat to other guests and the friendly staff. Simply amazing. The wait isn't too...More

I'm into fine dining and Michelin stars restaurants. I've been to a few in London which is where I live, including the amazing Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, the two stars "The Ledbury" and Heston's "Dinner", and a bunch of one star rated ones. I...More

They will do - but from my experience you can't ever reserve tables, so if busy which it normally is you would have to either sit apart, or potentially wait in a queue quite a while until enough seats in a row become... More

Dear Seamus1973, Thank you for your question. I'm afraid we don't have high chairs at our restaurants, we just have our high stools. Thanks, Connie Cooper (PR & Marketing)

Barrafina is an authentic Spanish tapas bar located in London's Soho. It serves a traditional but contemporary, regional a la carte menu and there is a daily blackboard of specials, created by Executive Head Chef, Barragan Mohacho. Barrafina operates a first come first serve queuing system, and does not take reservations for their 23 stools. However, part of the fun of dining there is eating little bites and sipping on something delicious while making the line. The kitchen is open and guests are close to all the action and drama while their food is prepared.
