Since the restaurant moved to Dean Street, it has gained a few more seats and more (queuing) space. The food is as excellent as ever. The service uber busy and friendly. The place just has great vibe and is still worth the wait. Long time favourite had become even better in the new location. Thumbs up!

Best tapas I've had in town. Tried to go a few times and too busy, found myself in soho on a Sunday lunchtime and popped in for a snack. Amazing chorizo amongst other dishes. Really cool atmosphere and very friendly host, also very informative about where to buy Spanish ingredients in London. Believe they are moving location soon

Great selection of Spanish wines, and all plates were perfect, flavors you can't find in other place. Service could be better but too much work for them.

Really good quality tapas, everything we tried from the menu was delicious. Tuna tartare, artichokes and octopus were mind blowing. We arrived at 5.45 on friday, waited about 30-40 mins. Service is great, and very cozy, and friendly atmosphere. Would definitely go again

After an hour wait for a seat in the new location on Dean st we ordered food and as the first dish arrived, octopus with capers, the final orders for mains was called. We ordered a further dish on top of our original order and sat and sat. Watching other people devour their dishes we began to get a little... More

We had to wait 1 to 1/34 hours to be seated. There are better places to eat in the area unless you're desperate for Tapas, of which it seems that there is a big gap in the market for in central London.

Barrafina is a wonderful tapas restaurant. Be warned - no booking so get there 20-30 minutes before it opens at 17:00, otherwise you could find yourself waiting for 90 minutes for a seat in this very small restaurant. There are many delights but try the Tuna Tartare and the Baby Artichokes (if they are in season).

I have been to Barrafina in Adelaide St a few times before. Today, we popped into the new Dean St SoHo location (moved from Frith St). The food was good, however the service was terrible. After being seated, we got served drinks pretty quickly. However, food orders were not taken for another 45 minutes and the first cold dish did... More

I went for lunch on Thursday. It was full and I had to wait but it was definitely worth it. The food is authentic and excellent. Chefs cook the food in front of you and it was an amazing experience to see how they work

Barrafina is an authentic Spanish tapas bar located in London's Soho. It serves a traditional but contemporary, regional a la carte menu and there is a daily blackboard of specials, created by Executive Head Chef, Barragan Mohacho. Barrafina operates a first come first serve queuing system, and does not take reservations for their 23 stools. However, part of the fun of dining there is eating little bites and sipping on something delicious while making the line. The kitchen is open and guests are close to all the action and drama while their food is prepared.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
