2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Went for dinner as a party of six. Good ambiance although tables packed in. Challenging menu which even the foodies amongst us found difficult. Mind-boggling list of wines - but limited price range. Slow taking our order and slow service. Wrong wine brought twice. Lot of food left on the plates. Smallest coffee ever. Given its quality, £65 per head... More

Small place with basic decor. Average service. Food is a mixed blessing. Some dishes were really good; the granola and the Turkish egg. Others were average; French Toast. Not bad overall

Went for lunch with my wife and daughter. The eggs served for lunch are outstanding but the place is overcrowded even though it is very trendy. Worth visiting though.

This is one of my favourite places in London. They do great wines and the atmosphere is just right, casual without being laid back, you can go there and have a sociable lunch, evening drink or a quiet conversation (or even sit alone with a laptop and a coffee) and be made to feel welcome and special. That is all... More

We used to visit their sister restaurant in Covent Garden (Kopapa) but that closed so we went to Providores for our Turkish eggs fix and it was outstanding as always. We also tried the "half and half" granola and fruit and that was pretty good too. A bit odd that the menu says it has fruit whereas what you get... More

This restaurant is a must, just to try the Turkish eggs. They also have write a good wine list. The dessert menu is not bad too. The bacon ice cream - you either love it or hate it... Not for me...

Really enjoyed our dinner at the Providores. Went for the set menu and better than expected. Just loving the fusion influence of dishes. Could not resist and bought Gordon's cookbook to make some of the dishes at home.

Beautiful creative food, not your basic standard. Original thought was used in creating the food and the menu. Overall healthy and delicious with good juice and coffee options. The eggs are perfect for breakfast and I loved the cod for lunch. Must try.

Four excitable friends together on Friday. More wine than food, but staff were wonderful. No issues with providing side plates and us sharing main courses. We were the last to leave the restaurant but they didn't push us out. Food was divine a real goodies heaven.

Thank BelinderK

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
