I've been several times both for take away's and eat in, up to now I've never been disappointed. The portions are satisfactory, the staff are always friendly and polite and the price is reasonable. It's not gourmet dinning but it's definitely enjoyable.

We have been enjoying lunch at Stick & Bowl for years... it is the staple cheap and cheerful Chinese for Kensington locals. The ramen soups are particularly good and the kitchen can easily make it without msg upon request. Our other favorites include BBQ pork with plain rice and baked fried chicken... the fried seaweed is good albeit a bit... More

It has gone down hill big time, the menu has changed and the food is simple disgusting and taste of nothing like the original owners cooking also prices here are very pricey for very average food.

Dont expect a normal restaurant, but best Chinese food, to realistic price. You find yourself a seat at a high bar table or one of the few normal tables. Dont go here if you look for privacy, or for hanging around long. Many take aways. Singapore noodles are great. There are small plates with chillies and spicy sauce, included in... More

We were traveling back from Harrods, shopping. This place caught our eye, on the busy street, and steaming crowded inside. We peaked in, and the food smelled awesome. This place is like a hole in the wall, but every chair was taken. And, well deserved. Tastes spicy, tastes Chinese. The spices were hot, to my liking. I ordered the shredded... More

The food was really good but its a bit pricey and the atmosphere is appalling. You have to sit on stools and the whole place is unwelcoming like they want you out fast enough. You have to pay cash but there is a bank round the corner anyway bit annoying after you've had your meal to go to the cash... More

We came here for a quick eat on the way to the Design Museum, mainly because Fodor's Travel 2017 guide for London recommend this hole-in-wall place for good basic Chinese food. Well, the wonton had a strange texture and taste, the noodle is bland and unlike any noodles served in Chinese restaurants, and the soup taste like boiled water spiced... More

Stick and Bowl has been here forever, and is exactly as the day it opened. It is great to sit on stools for fast Chinese. Great food and friendly service. Be prepared to fit in where there is space. Recommended!

Just had a bowl of stick&bowl noodle soup there. £6.90. Cheap but smallish size, unremarkable. Below average ambience and service. However I did see stir fry on top of rice dish looked really decent, larger serves.

We have been coming to S&B for almost 10 years now and have NEVER been disappointed. Sure it is not sophisticated, or comfortable for that matter, but the dishes always hit the spot. Note: the staff are exceptionally friendly too, which is rare enough these days that it deserves to earn the restaurant brownie points. S&B deserves 11 OUT OF... More
