Visited earlier this week with a small group of friends. Great little place, authentic food, fairly priced. Was taken here by a local regular and it didn't disappoint. All the food was great, from the starters to the dessert. The time flew and before we knew it it was midnight. I recommend if you like classic Italian food cooked perfectly... More

Food was reasonable, but overshadowed by very rude owner/manager. Definately would not recommend it.

I visited this restaurant today with my Mum for Mother's Day. We came here a few years ago for a lovely lunch and remembered it well, thinking this would be a lovely place to revisit. How wrong were we! We were sneered at upon arrival as we had not booked. However, the maitre'd ushered for one of the waiters to... More

Held my Husband's Surprise Birthday Party at Frantoio... the owner Bucci is charming & has a wonderful team of chefs & waiters. The food is truly delicious & they also have a great wine list. Couldn't recommend this Restaurant highly enough.

A large party of 20+ visited for dinner with pre-ordered dishes. Food quality and presentation was excellent and the front of house welcome was very warm and friendly. Mixed starter and entrecote steak main were superb but compliments were paid on all the dishes we had.

Highly recommended. Sicilian chef Mimmo's food is brilliant, the staff is so friendly and attentive and owner Bucci is always there to welcome you.

We went for a dinner here during a weekday. When we arrived there was a large party which took up half the restaurant but it didn't put us off at all. We were seated in a more quiet area and were looking after very well despite having such a busy restaurant at the time. The food from start to finish... More

Another fabulous day at Frantoio's- such a great atmosphere ALWAYS. Bucci is hilarious and anybody that says the waiters are rude sadly have no sense of humour. They are funny and entertaining and with this service and great food makes for a great dining experience. LOVE it!!!!

11 of us visited Frantoio to celebrate my 30th birthday & I am so glad we chose this restaurant. Upmarket but had a really homely feel - probably due to the 5 star service and the food was delicious and not overpriced. We also had a 7 month old baby who was very accommodated. Would certainly recommend & would return... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
