Sumptuous lunch with wonderfully crafted plates of food. Ambient vibe with cool modern jazz and surprisingly bright lunch time setting. Would highly recommend.

I've walked past this place so many times and noticed availability on Opentable often so it was with great anticipation that I finally managed to eat here while on business. I'm very happy to say I enjoyed the whole experience a great deal. It's a different type of fine dining restaurant to the norm; dark but sophisticated with an open... More

This was our second visit to this famous restaurant and won't be our last. Arrived at 5:30 PM and were escorted to our table after a short delay. We choose from the a la carte and I ordered Fillet Steak, my partner went for Lamb Chops. Before they arrived we were given some lovely Amuse-bouches which were excellent. Our mains... More

We were looking for a michelin star restaurant within close proximity to Queen's theatre as a pre-threatre treat. Having looked through the options, we decided to try L'atelier de Joel Robuchon. On arrival I was quite surprised by the decor, the red and black was very loud but we soon got used to and appreciated the design. We were seated... More

Took the early dining menu and it was a fantastic meal. Enjoyed sitting at the counter but you are a little bit squeezed in. Great to see your meal being prepared and then to be able to taste it. Very convenient for theatre land.

I was rather disappointed with my recent visit. I didn’t have an excellent experience, as per my previous visits. First, their service - we were only seated 30 minutes after our arrival, despite our even earlier booking. The restaurant was packed that night, thus felt chaotic. Part of the disappointment also was because we didn’t manage to get a table... More

Went for lunch and they have a 3-course lunch menu which is a really good deal for that level of quality. Portions are not big but very satisfying. Excellent presentation and visual effect of food. Best to sit at the bar where you can watch the chefs in the kitchen cook and plate up

Description
Drawing on Joel Robuchon's internationally renowned culinary expertise, already accredited with several Michelin Stars at restaurants throughout the world, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon's philosophy is based on serving simple cuisine of the most exceptional quality. This London restaurant has been awarded Michelin Star, as well as 3 AA Rosettes, establishing it as one of the most exceptional places to dine in London. Robuchon's menu delights the palate with clean insightful flavours and refreshingly understated presentation. The dishes are predominantly French with Italian and Spanish influences. The dining experience at L'Atelier is an interactive one. On the ground floor, the eating counter surrounds the entire kitchen where the food is prepared. Robuchon sees the immediate benefit of this Japanese-inspired layout to chefs, as one can gauge the reaction of clients, and even converse with them whilst they watch their food being prepared. Unlike the sister restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, the London restaurant also has another 20 seats where diners can sit opposite each other. Meanwhile, La Cuisine on the first floor offers more traditional restaurant seating in a setting that could be likened to dining in the kitchen itself. Wherever you are seated you will enjoy the highest quality food in an informal, convivial environment. Valet parking is also available. Please note, last reservations are taken half an hour prior to closing time. Dress code: Smart Casual, shorts are not permitted.
