You will be hard pressed to find better food. The staff are knowledgeable but friendly and unpretentious. The atmosphere at lunch is very buzzy. However it is expensive apart from set menus which are very reasonable. Hard to find wine that was not very expensive....More

Refined, beautiful and excellent. Actually very reasonably price compared to many other tables in London. A must go for anyone looking for great and original meal.

The ambience was great, but a little dim in on some tables. There was the open kitchen and the orders were fired on the "per table" basis, which was expected for a fine-dining establishment. Each course arrived together, the food items and the recommended way...More

Great location and this is a restaurant on three floors. We have tried both levels and the bar at the top. Its nicely laid out. Downstairs is more casual dining around one of the kitchens with high stools etc., First floor more traditional. The food...More

We thought their London branch would be a top notch, but it was not... Dining room was not nice. Too much food smell, too warm and with not a tasty decoration. Food was very good, but not with same standard of their other locations. Same...More

The food is 5 stars. Service is 3. Ambiance is vey nice, no views. So here is my concern about the service. Heavily accented captain at our table made it difficult to understand our food selections. I am not a Philistine but "quail" should not...More

Smart casual would be fine (for gentlemen, khaki slacks and a blazer with a nice shirt -- tie optional). Feel free to dress up a bit better if you'd like, but it isn't necessary.

Drawing on Joel Robuchon's internationally renowned culinary expertise, already accredited with several Michelin Stars at restaurants throughout the world, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon's philosophy is based on serving simple cuisine of the most exceptional quality. This London restaurant has been awarded Michelin Star, as well as 3 AA Rosettes, establishing it as one of the most exceptional places to dine in London. Robuchon's menu delights the palate with clean insightful flavours and refreshingly understated presentation. The dishes are predominantly French with Italian and Spanish influences. The dining experience at L'Atelier is an interactive one. On the ground floor, the eating counter surrounds the entire kitchen where the food is prepared. Robuchon sees the immediate benefit of this Japanese-inspired layout to chefs, as one can gauge the reaction of clients, and even converse with them whilst they watch their food being prepared. Unlike the sister restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, the London restaurant also has another 20 seats where diners can sit opposite each other. Meanwhile, La Cuisine on the first floor offers more traditional restaurant seating in a setting that could be likened to dining in the kitchen itself. Wherever you are seated you will enjoy the highest quality food in an informal, convivial environment. Valet parking is also available. Please note, last reservations are taken half an hour prior to closing time. Dress code: Smart Casual, shorts are not permitted.
