The atmosphere was friendly and buzzing, the setting could be updated. The staff were friendly however did take long to respond. The pancakes were enormous, well presented and fresh but it took over half an hour to arrive. Prices were reasonable for the size of...More

Turned up to My Old Dutch to celebrate ‘Pancake Day’ where the disappointment was constant, if not progressive. The service was unbelievably slow which can be justified by the context of a busy day. It took the waiting staff too long to order the drinks,...More

Ordered the berry compote it was too tangy but the actual pancake was light and fluffy and they serve it in massive plates. The Decor was good and it was busy on a weekday around 3

We had to wait 30 minutes outside to be let into the restaurant because it was a fairly busy evening. We were unimpressed though, when we realised how many empty tables there were inside which remained unfilled for significant periods of time. Once we had...More

My first experience of the Old Dutch was some 35 years ago, and I was slightly disappointed not to see the big blue plates still in use. I used their downstairs loo and I did expect to at least see one on the wall, but...More

I first ate in a My Old Dutch restaurant over 30 years ago when I lived in Brighton. Then I thought the pancakes were delicious, but my latest experience in the Holborn branch makes me think I won't be using these restaurants again. The restaurant...More

My wife and I met in Holborn 35+ years ago and My Old Dutch was a regular on our date nights. We were delighted that on a first trip back for many years to discover it was still there and thriving. Not only that but...More

My old Dutch has been One of London's lamarks since it's opening in the early 1980s and judging from the Quality and quantity together with the service makes this London Eating houses One of my favourite in and around Holborn and Covent Garden, Highly recomend.

Inner London’s busiest streets crisscross quiet
cobbled lanes for an effect that can be urbane or
quaint – or an intriguing blend of both – depending on
the particular corner you turn. Due to its especially
convenient location, bustling Holborn hosts an
excellent range of hotels, eateries, and shops to suit
practically any taste or budget. With major
attractions like the British Museum and Somerset House
