We held our wedding reception at The Vintry on 25 March and had a wonderful time. The pub is a great space in a marvellous location, and the staff were without exception excellent - friendly, attentive, accommodating and extremely efficient. Our events manager Nicola was fantastic and helped us organise the event for 160 people in a very short space... More

Booked lunch and was given table downstairs, service and food were acceptable for standard of restaurant, however when it came to dessert I had an insect performing breast stroke in the cream, when pointed out to waitress she just laughed that it was still alive, and had probably flown in from street ?, inference being not their responsibility, in any... Business lunch on a Monday. Not too busy. Seat right away. A little dark inside but pleasant enough. Attentive service. Food was served promptly and was delicious. Enjoyed chicken with fresh broccoli. Later in the week had a nice ale in the evening and the place was hopping and fun. Great spot in the city.

Great food and wonderful service, only one problem. We order drinks and it was good but when we got the bill it read double doses, I wish they have asked me if I wanted double dose and not just serve me, not because the money but mainly for my own security (can imagine if I was driving!!)

Omg! The food, service, atmosphere was just amazing. Visited on Friday for a dinner. It was just one of the best experiences in London. We had three graces sparkling wine just amazing taste like champagne but made here in UK, it was perfectly chilled and served by great staff. Definitely will be back! Thank you Team Vintry!

A great restaurant in central London that had both delicious food and fairly reasonable prices! The staff were friendly, the restaurant itself was welcoming and had a good atmosphere, and the food was incredible. 100% recommend :)

I took clients to The Vintry this evening for an early Xmas celebration. The food is always consistently good, well priced for the City and the service friendly. Tonight the service was exceptional. Magdalena was our waitress and she made all the difference. She knew her menu helping us make the right choice for our party of 12 and was... More

We held our first charity dinner at The Vintry and they could not have done more to make it the most incredible evening. From the amazing quality and quantity of the food (beautiful roast beef and delicious apple crumble and chocolate torte) to the helpfulness and enthusiasm of the staff and managing team - everything was faultless. The venue itself... More

I came here as part of a large work group (approx. 30 people) for a meal. We were comfortably-enough seated downstairs. However, despite having pre-ordered our starter and main courses, the meals did take some time to come out, although I understand the challenges of getting out food for that many people at one time. The primary problem was that... More

Thank you for the feedback. We take on board your criticism and are always looking for ways to improve improve speed of service among other things. Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
