I went to eat at Mala yesterday evening and as a vegetarian ordered a vegetable byriani. The food looked great however when taking my first bite I realised that I had bitten into meat. When I questioned the waiter he said 'oh that's lamb' and offered to change the dish. I didn't feel like they gave a good enough apology... More

We ate here on two nights during our recent visit to London. We were a group of 8.) It is within walking distance of The Tower Bridge. Service was excellent/ prompt, polite. Food (I am not an expert on Indian food) but we enjoyed the usual dishes. This restaurant is located in a quaint courtyard on a harbor. At night... More

We have been to this restaurant several times and they never let us down. The food is very good, however the last time we visited we found the restaurant very busy and therefore it took a bit of time until we got served. The staff was very quick to realize that we had been waiting for some time and quickly... More

My wife and I dined here after a day at the Tower. We stopped for a bottle of Prosecco at Tom Kitchen and we were a little upset that we hadn't booked to eat there instead of Mala. Our fears were completely unfounded! We had what I can only describe as Indian cuisine of the absolute highest quality. The service... More

The restaurant is situated in St Katherine's dock so has great views. It's spacious inside so you're not sitting on top of one another. The staff are attentive and the food was gorgeous. My starter was like a main meal. But so nice I had to eat it all. Vinny the owner came and chatted to us and was really... More

After reading the mixed reviews, we did not know what to expect. But we glad we tried it as we loved Mala Restaurant. The food was very tasty - Onion Bhaji, Samosas, Butter Chicken, Subzi Haandi Biryani - and delicious. Top that with excellent service and a superb location and it was well worth the cost. We would go again.
