This restaurant is one of the best in the country. The mood, initially established by the decor, is pure English. If you're looking for that at its best, Wiltons is not to be missed. I particularly enjoy the Steak au Poivre, which couldn't possibly be...More

At the request of an Italian colleague, I went Wiltons for the first time in nearly 40 years. It's still immaculately old school and totally charming and, fascinatingly, full of Tory Grandees on this particular evening. The food was titillatingly good, especially the cooked oysters....More

When the director of a major U.S. museum suggests that you dine at Wilton’s when in London, you do, and thankfully, we did! It is the best of English dining with flawless service, remarkably attentive, with great attention to detail. We would love to know...More

The atmoshere is comfortable, quiet, and understated, but clearly reflecting a long and successful history. If you are looking for...More

I've been here a few times for dinner. The general ambience of the place is wonderful. It's old school charm. The service is perfect, all the staff are very friendly and polished. They really know what they're doing. The food is typical for an establishment...More

We've been to Wiltons on most of our visits to London. We are never disappointed. Their Dover sole is legendary, for something lighter, try their crab and lobster omlette. They had a lovely Pims jelly with strawberries and mint icecream to celebrate the onset of...More

Very nice restaurant and service is superb but they rushed us. We like to enjoy it couple of cocktails before we eat but that didn't happen. We ordered the beef Wellington and I had oysters as a starter. Everything was wonderful but we were through...More

The smoked eel with horse radish was excellent / the sole main mediocre - it was the British cheeses at the end that was spectacular with a great port that was the highlight!

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing

Wiltons, established in 1742, has consistently enjoyed a reputation as the epitome of fine British dining in London. George William Wilton provided the finest oysters to the traders of London"s Haymarket. Today Wiltons continues that tradition and continues to serve the finest oysters, seafood and game. Wiltons combines a modern philosophy on service with all that is traditionally British to create the perfect dining experience. If you are making a reservation for groups of 6 or more, please contact Wiltons directly. Should you have any special requests i.e birthday cakes or champagne, please advise Wiltons immediately upon making your reservation. We politely ask that gentlemen wear long sleeved shirts and long trousers, no sportswear or open toed sandals.
