Good range of food for the lunch buffet but I think the quality is better at the Diwana. Still, excellent value and a great place for lunch.

For £12.50 you can enjoy an absolutely filling feast in the evening (that includes one non-alcoholic drink, pickles, starter and main). They don't have a booze license and it has more of a cafe feel to it than a restaurant but staff are efficient and friendly. It is full waiter service. It is NOT fine dining by any means, but... 3 mins from concourse at Euston station. I went early at 5pm before it gets packed. For £7.50 had the meal if the day which was sufficient. It's a vegetarian Indian restaurant. Nothing to write home about though. It was very basic albeit friendly waiter/owner. However I personally don't like curries floating visibly in oil.

Was here for dinner tonight. We booked a table so waited about 5 minutes before being seated. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. I ordered the Thali which was very tasty and the Poori's were also good. Parents ordered the Dosa which they enjoyed. Dessert was the Goolabjamun and Phalooda which was also tasty. Will be going back again in... More

Was keen to try the famous Ravi Shankar vegetarian restaurant on Drummond st which is full of Indian restaurants. The place is always busy and prices are not too bad for Central london We ordered, lots of chaat, dosas and paneer currys too So why only 3 stars - because of inspire of specifically telling the staff to spice up... My first impression as I walked in was, gosh this is congested! But then once we were settled and found a place to sit we were all right(a bit squeezed in though). I was really impressed with the variety of dishes that were offered (including dessert). All from different states of India and tasted as they should taste like. Ingredients... More

We went early evening and it was very busy but we just got a table. The waiter was very pleasant. We ordered on of the thali's and they forgot to serve the soup. I ordered shrikand and the waiter brought gulab jamun instead. I sent back the gulab juman and asked for the shrikand which appeared but was clearly off... More

I have visited this restaurant in the evening but never before at lunchtime. They offer a good range of hot and cold dishes which are all flavoursome and plentiful with options for starters, main and sweet, all for a set price. In town this is great value and good quality. I will be back

Really impressed with this vegetarian gem. If you like Indian food that's a bit different, veggie or not, this is the place to go. Everything on the menu is suitable for veggies and vegan dishes are also marked. There is so much choice! Enough to keep us coming back several more times I expect. The food was really delicious, and... More
