We arrived on time and they couldn't find my name in their reservations book. When someone did I was told they'd tried to call me 'Many times' to let me know we only had an hour and a half to order and eat our meal! I'd had two missed calls but it didn't occur to me it would be the... More

Went here with 3 friends (2 Vegan 1 Veggie) so I figured it was a good idea. I could not have been more wrong, my first thought was like the last reviewer that the curries had come out of a tin... flavourless, insipid and miserly. All in all we tried several starter and mains and we all agreed that we... More

We went as a group of six and each had the Kerala Feast for £17 per head which is a tasting menu and gives you a sample of just about all the curry dishes on offer. The food is lovely, and very tasty and there is lots of variety. Make sure you book the right restaurant - in Stoke Newington... More

Went to the vegetarian only restaurant on a Saturday night with some friends (vegetarians and not), and we all left very full and satisfied! plenty of good choices to share, we loved the dosa and the Malabar Paratha bread. Good wine list as well. Service could be improved.

Been here last night, the staff is very friendly and on point, the starters are great, we had a nice selection of bread and pickles, the mains were just right! I would totally recommend this place as well as the prices are very reasonable!

Big disappointment with food here. Lacks spice and doesn't taste fresh at all. Main curry was like some type of school stew with over boiled veg.

Went today with friends who have been regularly . Firstly it's kerulean vegetarian food so S. Indian. Lots of different food we have never seen or heard of before, but guided by our friend's. First stumbling block is I'm wheat intolerant. The menu shows a code of D= dairy, G gluten,V vegan . After a while I realised that if... More

First time at Rasa; we have ordered several dishes. I suggest to go with friends so you can share and try a little bot of everything. Dosa has been a surprised for me, I have never tried it before and I really enjoyed, consistency is great. Stuff could be a little bit more efficient but in general they are nice.... More

The food is strictly vegetarian and food is always good and reliable. The staff are friendly and helpful, always willing to advise on choices. We have our favourite dishes but it's worth trying new dishes especially the specialities not seen in a normal High St curry house. Here the flavours and textures are more delicate than an average Indian restaurant.

This was my second visit and won't be my last. We usually get a dosa, filled with yummy spicy potato with tasty chutney and sambar to dunk it in. We also had deep fried aubergines and a paneer and spinach curry with lemon rice, all very tasty. Always enjoy Rasa and it's great value for money too.
