This is one of my favourite restaurants. I have eaten here about twenty times and it is hard to praise highly enough the consistently inventive and high quality of the food. The atmosphere is always relaxed but what I love the most is the wine...More

Set amongst many other places that look great to eat at - Exmouth Market is a street rather than a building. Food and wine were both very good and the service was friendly and attentive. Has a noisy but buzzing vibe with an open kitchen...More

Mushrooms - a good test. If the mushrooms are fresh, the restaurant is good. The mushrooms I was served were delicious, fresh and served with a succulent sauce. The rest of the meal was great, too. This is a good place to go with old...More

The food was good, not exceptional. Had wanted to go here for many years and finally got round to it. Was disappointed. The fish tagine was better than the lamb. It was nice but have better meals for a lot less

This restaurant was a ground-braker for the area and has lasted the course brilliantly. The style is Spanish-Moroccan, the atmosphere friendly-busy, the service impeccable, the food fabulous. Our party ordered a large variety of main dishes, pork, red mullet, chicken and Hake, which give everyone...More

Having purchased the Moro recipe book for a friend's birthday and taken a quick peek inside, I just had to book and it was brilliant. It was buzzing on a Saturday night - friendly and professional service and delicious food with great taste and textures...More

I love this place, I haven't been here for years because I no longer work in the city so Exmouth Market is a bit of a trek from Wimbledon but coming here last week reminded me of how much I used to love coming here....More

I really liked the ambience of the restaurant and the food was really tasty. I did feel the portions were a bit stingy for the price (I had the pork with esclivada as a main and there were two small slices of pork belly and...More

Busy, noisy, friendly atmosphere. My wife and I had dinner with good friends who recommended the place. We were not disappointed. Starters of calves liver and scallop and sea bass were excellent. Alborino to go with that. Mains consistedo of sea bass, pork and lamb...More

I've wanted to dine at Moro ever since I got my hands on their first cookbook many years ago. Sometimes a pilgrimage disappoints - but lunch here was better than I dared hope for. Set in a lovely market street - the room is beautifully...More

Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Description
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
