Called in at lunchtime. Really off-hand manner from the guy at the front desk. When I asked for an alternative table (bit squashed) he sarcastically said, "No! they are people who booked up yesterday" presumably meaning not for someone who just turned up? The place...More

We were a group of 9 with a reservation and were sat in a relatively private area. The food was excellent, varied, creative beautifully presented. Service was attentive without being overbearing.

Returned here after a few years absence with two of my sons for dinner. Enjoyed every minute of it! Highlights of the meal were the lamb cooked rare and the Malaga rum and raisin ice cream that I remember from years ago. The charming waitress...More

I first went to Moro in 2011 and remember having a superb meal. By contrast the meal this evening was fine - perhaps a little too pricey for what was delivered. The positives on this visit were that the service was good and we were...More

We went to Moro for a belated Birthday meal - four adults and a five year old. We were welcomed by lovely, friendly staff who were informative and attentive. We were offered half portions of two mains or any selections of tapas for our small...More

Uber trendy Exmouth Market is hipster heaven! A very lively, bustling area with lots going on. Moro is an eclectic mix of Mediterranean, North African food. Not an exhaustive menu (which I like) and an extensive wine list - with a focus on some of...More

In spite of not being sophisticated, the food is carefully balanced and naturally tasty. The service is excellent and the ambience wellcoming. They change the menu from time to time, so it is a place where you come back again and again.

Moro has a limited menu, but the food is extremely tasty. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we spent a pleasant couple of hours over our meal.

Visited Moro for lunch, had a table in the window and a very warm welcome. Warm, delicious bread with oil and a carafe of water arrived immediately whilst perusing the menu. My family chose mussels, me the Iberican ham as starters and all had the...More

Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

Description
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
