Came here for the Valentine's Day menu. Food was excellent, and although it was very busy the service was efficient and the waitresses were pleasant. My glass of prosecco was a bit flat but they brought out a fresh one without a fuss. The only issue I had was that the tables were very close together and it felt a... More

I dined here for dinner with my family in November 2016. I had never been out of central London as far as West Hampstead before, but the Wet Fish was recommended to us by one of my family members who will soon be living out there. I had no perceptions about what eating here would be like; not sure do... More

beautiful little cafe with good vegetarian choices. we had just come from a yoga class where they gave us complimentary tea so we walked into the wet fish and the lady at the counter said to us 'I hope you're not walking into my cafe with coffee from outside'. there was no branding on the cups and we tried to... My boyfriend and I have been meaning to go here for 6 months as we are local to the area but it is often impossible to get a table... now I see why. The Wet Fish is a small and intimate bistro-esk restaurant with a romantic atmosphere. My fish was exceptional and the staff were charming and attentive. I wouldn't... More

This is a great place for brunch. There are plenty of options and food and staff are good. Its reasonably priced. Theres also good smoothy options as well. It can also get quite busy so Id recommend going early or being prepared to wait. Definietly recommended.

I visit the Wet Fish Cafe fairly regularly and the food is usually very good. On this occasion the specials were particularly good and the service was excellent - friendly welcome, and being understanding when food not to our liking.

I've been coming here for years but forgot to review it until now. The staff are really friendly and it has a very nice atmosphere. The menu is interesting and changes frequently. I have brought many fussy friends here and they all love it too! It's rare these days to find somewhere that's individual without being faddy, and reliable without... More

I don't even live in London... I don't know why or how I ended up at The Wet Fish restaurant but I will definitely drop in again when next in London. I had one of the day's special... Monkey Fish... presentation and flavour was celebrity chef standard but service was down to eath and friendly... just like I like it.... More

Description
Cafe by day and brasserie by night, The Wet Fish Cafe is perfect for cosy, romantic meals or lazy weekend brunches. Set in one of London's historic 'wet fish' shops in West Hampstead, the original Art Deco wall tiles and eclectic interior create a warm, neighbourly atmosphere. Good music, serious cocktails and the Wet Fish Cafe's own brand of "modern comfort food", the seasonally changing menu is short and offers freshly cooked fish, meat and veggie dishes. The Early Bird menus offer excellent value (on tables returned by 8pm and all evening every Monday).
