Tapas style italian food, very tasty, reasonably priced. Sometimes you have to wait to be seated but it's worth it. Friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Meal didn't get off to a good start when we were greeted by a rude member of staff telling us she'd given away the table we'd booked because we were 10mins late. After pointing out that we'd actually been waiting in the doorway for someone...More

Really enjoyed the food, especially the crab linguine grilled lamb and the warm duck salad. Service was professional and attentive. House Pinot noir wine was a great pairing. Going back again!

Everything we tried here was very nice, but nothing was truly stand out. Still, a very enjoyable meal (the mini pizzas especially), In a small but nice venue. Biggest let down was the service, which was friendly but slow and inconsistent (we had to keep...More

Decent food, close quarters, fun atmosphere, friendly servers. Better than average but not good enough for 4 out of 5. Another time I wish TripAdvisor would allow a 3.5

I just stumbled across this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon while visiting London. It looked comfortable and inviting. I was disappointed in the food. I ordered a salad with zucchini and the special monkfish with lentils that was the special for the day. The monkfish...More

We were there a week ago, and they were very busy. Service was friendly, but clearly stretched. Overall we had a nice meal, some dishes were good, some were not at all, but in general the food is overpriced. Was weird that they did not...More

Polpo is a bàcaro, a humble, Venetian restaurant serving simple food and good, young local wines within a modest setting, exposed brickwork, tin ceilings and copper bars. Several of the restaurants have basement bars - a great clandestine destination in their own right for drinks and a snack, or as a handy place to hang out while you are waiting for your friends to join you.
