A birthday lunch for eight adults, all 55+.... We were welcomed by Michel Roux and escorted into the comfortable bar area. Soon all eight of us were taken downstairs to the restaurant. The decor seemed to be late Victorian-meets-early twenty-first century. Gorgeous. Exotic. Almost playful!...More

There’s a reason this place is highly rated year after year. The ambiance is magnificent, the service impeccable, and the food is delicious. What more could you want? Oh the wine list runs for miles and miles. So, why just a 4? Mainly, for me,...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed

London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic

I very much doubt they allow dogs, obviously guide dogs, but this is a luxurious, high end restaurant.

The first UK restaurant to be awarded one, two, and then three Michelin stars, Le Gavroche remains a class apart. Since opening in 1967, this Mayfair bastion of French cuisine has been very much a family affair, and chef-patron Michel Roux Jr continues the tradition today. The elegance of the menu and the ambience is impeccably tailored, while the discreet service has won its own plaudits.
